WELCOME TO KRUMA

In South Tyrolean language, "Kruma" literally translated means "general store". Originally, people used to meet in the “Kruma” to buy the necessities of life such as bread, milk, coffee, sugar, a newspaper, cleaning products, soap and much more.

So the former rooms have changed into apartments with breakfast. What remains unchanged is the perfect location of the Kruma: the Dolomites hiking region and the Plan de Corones ski mountain are extending right in front of you.

Perfect conditions for active travellers & nature lovers

The Val Pusteria valley offers plenty of natural beauty right at your doorstep in the surroundings of Valdaora. Several places of interest are only a stone’s throw away.  The Lago di Braies (20 kilometres), our local mountain Plan de Corones (200 metres to the bus stop), the cycle path that leads through Val Pusteria valley to East Tyrol (passing by at the doorstep as well), the World Heritage Site of the Dolomites with the Tre Cime di Lavaredo or the earth pyramids near Plata (12 kilometres). In winter, on the other hand, you can ski around the unforgettable Sella mountain massif (one hour's drive from Valdaora). Would you like to make a day trip to Venice? In 2.5 hours only you'll be on the vaporetto. Or perhaps you'd prefer a day trip to Lake Garda?
